 Our
practice is patient-centered, which means we do everything we can to
make the time you spend with us pleasant and comfortable. We think of
our patients as our family. Your children can have fun exploring our
play area, but they won’t be there long—we know your time
is valuable, so we work hard to stay on schedule. If an emergency does
put us behind, however, we will call you and let you know that we are
running late so you can adjust your schedule, too.
As you are receiving your care, you can enjoy the view outside our
windows or close your eyes and listen to music you choose on the MP3
player that
we provide. If you or your children are nervous about treatment, we
will take whatever time necessary to put you at ease. We also offer sedation
dentistry to reduce your anxieties. To keep you safe and comfortable
during treatments, we use the latest technology, some of which include
a digital x-ray system (which exposes you to lower levels of radiation,)
and Dentipatch, a non-injectible system where lidocaine is placed on
the tissue site that helps obtain anesthesia prior to needle insertion.
Studies have found a significant reduction in needle pain with this
system.
The patch is designed to deliver a focused, steady release of lidocaine
to the site.
